RE-NAMING STREET IN MAYLAND'S FIRST ADDITION .
WHEREAS, the developers of Mayland's First Addition, have caused a plat of Mayland's
First Addition to be filed in 1979,
AND, WHEREAS, a street was dedicated between Lot 3, Block 3 and Block 7, and was
named Centennial Drive.
AND, WHEREAS, this name does not fit into the current street naming system of the City
of Brookings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Governing Body of the City of
Brookings that the street running east and west dedicated in Plat of Lot 3, Block 3; and Block 7
of Mayland's First Addition to the City of Brookings, dated January , 1977, and filed in Plat Book
13, Page 62, be re-named Sunrise Ridge Circle. The Finance Officer is directed to file a copy of
this Resolution with the Register of Deeds and to request that the above referenced plat be
notated with the new street name and a reference to this Resolution be added describing the
proper miscellaneous record.
