RE-NANIING STREET IN THELEN ADDITION NE 1/4 SECTION 19 T110 NR49
WHEREAS, the developers of Thelen Addition, have caused a plat of Thelen's Addition
to be filed in 1977,
AND, WHEREAS, a street was dedicated between Blocks 1-2, and Blocks 3-4 and was
named Thelen Avenue.
AND, WHEREAS, this name does not fit into the cunent street naming system of the City
of Brookings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Governing Body of the City of
Brookings that the street running north and south dedicated in Plat of Blocks 1, 3, and 5 of
Thelen's Addition to the City of Brookings and Blocks 2, 4, and 6 of Thelen's Addition, County
of Brookings NE'/4 Section 19 T110N R49W, dated March 24, 1977, and filed in Plat Book 12,
Page 32, be re-named Thirtieth Avenue. The Finance Officer is directed to file a copy of this
Resolution with the Register of Deeds and to request that the above referenced plat be notated
with the new street name and a reference to this Resolution be added describing the proper
miscellaneous record.
