DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is the owner of the following described:
3 - 1996 Ford four-door automobiles

WHEREAS,this property is no longer necessary or useful for City purposes, and it is the
desire of the City of Brookings to sell same as surplus property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the City of
Brookings, South Dakota, that this property be declared surplus property according to SDCL
Chapter 6-13.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following named persons are hereby appointed
, as appraisers of the hereinbefore described property, said persons being freeholders within the
Municipality to wit:
Gary Hofeldt
Dan Englund
Ron Williams
Passed and approved this 24th day of February, 1998.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE
The City of Brookings will be taking sealed bids for the following equipment:
3 - 1996 Ford four-door automobiles

2FALP71 WSTX153800
2FALP71 WSTX153801
The appraised value is $5,500.00 for each of the 1996 Ford sedans. Sealed bids for any
or all vehicles will be received at the City Finance Office, 311 Third Avenue, on Tuesday, March
24, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. For information pertaining to these vehicles call the Police Department,
