VACATION OF AN EASEMENT
BLOCK 1, TELKAMP INDUSTRIAL ADDITION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
WI�REAS, the City of Brookings has been granted certain utility easements in Block 1,
Telkamp Industrial Addition to the City of Brookings by virtue of a Final Plat entitled Plat of Lots
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Block 1 and Lots l, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Block 2 of
Telkamp Industrial Addition to the City of Brookings, Brookings County, South Dakota and filed
in Plat Book 21, Page 96, and
WHEREAS, Brookings Economic Development Corporation, buyers of Lots 3 and 4 in
Block 1, Telkamp Industrial Addition have petitioned the City of Brookings to vacate a certain
easement previously granted, between Lots 3 and 4,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of
Brookings that the present easement along and north and south of the property line between Lot 3
and 4, Block 1, Telkamp Industrial Addition be vacated including the five feet (5') north of the
said property line and five feet (5') south of said property line, and
FiJRTI�RMORE, that a copy of this resolution be filed with the Brookings County
Register of Deeds and that said Register of Deeds be requested to mark upon the above
referenced plat in Plat Book 21, Page 96, the vacating of said easement and note reference to the
proper miscellaneous record.
