RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (CCO #1) FOR THE
FINISHING LABORATORY SPACE FOR T. J. MICROMIX CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission that the following change order be allowed
for the T. J. Micromix Construction Project:

Mills Construction is directed to make the following changes in this contract:
Item#1 Change From High Pressure Laminate Cabinets To Commercial Quality

Item#2 Increased Electrical Cost For Adding Three 220 Volt 3 Phase Outlets& Two
Phone/fax Lines. This Increased Cost Includes Deducts For Cooler Electrical.

Lab Tenant Renovation—Johnson cost savings
Our bid includes a high pressure laminate cabinet(same as what Kahler has in his labs),
commercial quality with faceless frames (doors attach directly to the cabinet boxes with
no frame stiles or hi.ndrances to the opening size).
Here are the cost savings for cabinets if you elect to make the following changes:
1) commercial quality cabinets with the same construction as above except
that in lieu of the high pressure laminate,we will use a"thermofused"type
of laminate. One step below the high pressure laminate,but should work
very adequately in this lab. r

Deduct $ 4,620.00
2) another option is to use more of a residential style cabinet with a
laminated door, and face of cabinet will Have a frame. These cabinets �
have a nice smooth and clean door front(Johnson's main concern was that
the doors be easy to clean and be flush).
Deduct $ 8,250.00 ,
