BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, as
follows:
WHEREAS,there has been a committee established to research alternate routes for DM&E, and
WHEREAS, the City has retained Banner and Associates to aid in the project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Brookings City Commission accepts the
recommendations of the Mayors Advisory Committee for a Railroad By Pass and forwards said report to
the Governors office to be submitted to the Surface Transportation Board.
