HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 09-1999 RESOLUTION NO. 9-99 AMENDING PERSONNEL POLICY WHEREAS a comprehensive personnel policy governing the organizational and operational affairs of the City of Brookings employees has been adopted by the Brookings City Commission. WHEREAS the Commission finds that amendments to certain policies as set forth in said statement should be made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brookings City Commission that the personnel policy be amended effective January 1, 1999 as follows: Article VIII—Employee Benefits A. Vacation Paragraph two: Employees will accrue vacation in accordance with the following schedule: ADD: After twenty-five years of service— 16.6� hours per month Add Paragraph: Vacation leave shall be earned and credited to employees on the last day of each month,provided all other necessary provisions of this article have been met. Said vacation leave shall not be available to employees until after it has been earned and credited. ADD: V. Wellness Benefit The City agrees to reimburse employees 50% of the monthly membership fee (up to a maximum of$12.00) at an accredited wellness/fitness center. To be eligible for reimbursement,the employee must present proof of attendance of an average of two (2)times per week and/or eight(8)times per month during that month to be reimbursed.
