This project is used for annual street maintenance. A brief description is as follows: Schedule B: Asphalt F.O.B. Plant - asphalt that is picked up by Street Dept. personnel and used for patching curbs and valley gutters that have been replaced, and • to level streets before they are chip sealed or overlayed. Schedule C: Pavement Removal and Replacement - used for large digout areas when the asphalt and subgrade materials need to be removed to repair failing pavement. Schedule D: Crushed Gravel - gravel delivered to the Street Dept. to be used on alleys. Schedule E: Overlay Sites - a paved 2-inch asphalt overlay for deteriorating pavements. The total plan cost of Schedules B, C, D and E was $197,023.00. The actual cost of the project was $94,138.05. The change order amount is a reduction of$102,884.95, adjusting estimated quantities to as-built quantities. Most of the reduction of quantities was in Schedules B and C, which are used on an as-needed basis throughout the construction season. JAL:jal •
