RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SYMPATHY
TO VICTIMS OF DM&E TRAGEDY.
WHEREAS,the DM&E Railroad was victimized by a horrific act causing great
loss and grief, and,
WHEREAS, the people of Brookings were also victimized by this act and,
WHEREAS, a life was lost and another seriously injured, both DM&E
employees, and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of
Brookings, expresses its deepest sympathy to the families, friends and co-workers of
Brad Davis and Dennis Baum, and DM&E Railroad; and further expresses its willingness
to continue to assist the DM&E in its response to this tragic incident.
