A RESOLUTION NAMING THE NEW BROOKINGS ICE SKATING
FACILITY THE LARSON ICE CENTER
WHEREAS, Dale Larson and Larson Manufacturing have for over 20 years supported
the indoor skating program in Brookings through the providing of a building and facilities and
major financial contributions, and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that this generosity to the Brookings community is
recognized publicly in a suitable way.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the new Brookings
ice skating facility be named the LARSONICE CENTER.
Passed and approved this 24th day of September, 2001.
