AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 34-120 OF ARTICLE VIII OF THE -
REVISED ORDINANCES OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, ADOPTII�iG
THE MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES FOR STREET
AND HIGHWAYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF r
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA: -
�I. That Section 34-120 of Article VIII of the Revised Ordinances of the_ -
City of Brookings be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows, to-wit:
Section 34-120. Specifications,
The future design, construction and use of all signs and traffic
control devices within the city or under its jurisdiction shall conform
as near as possible to the manual on "Uniform Traffic Control Devices
for Streets and Highways", as prepared by the South Dakota Depart�nent
of Highways, Urban and Traffic Section, and adopted by the South Dakota
Highway Commission in 1973, which said manual is hereby adopted, by
reference, with the same full force and effect as though set forth at
length herein; copies of which said manual are now on file in the office
of the NLur�icipal Finance Officer.
II. That any and all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That Ordinance No. 28-75 , being an -
Ordinance :adopting .the 1973 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control - -
Devices for Streets and Highways which amended Section 34-120 of
the y. Revis�ed Ordinanc:es of the City of Brookings was duly adopted
by the 'Ci�y Commission o� the City of Brookings on the 23rd day
of :�ecember , 1975-. -
