THE OPERATION OP THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.: :_ -

Section 1. Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation for the year
1975 , Ordinance No. 14-74 appropriating revenue for ths operation
o� the municipal government for the 'year .1975 , s,u�f�ici�ez�t, revenue
was not provided to enable th.e municipality to conduct ��e indispen-
sable functions of, government of said City in that appropriations � _
were not sufficient for the Solid Waste Fund.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for" the purpose of
maintaining and o erating the City of Brookings _an additional sum -
in the amount of $19 ,000 for use in the Solid Waste Fund.
612-402 Waste Collection 10 ,000. 00
612-403 Sanitary Landfill 9 ,000. 00
Sectio� 3. All ordinances or parts of ordin�nces 'i:#� ,confl�ct
herewith are herel�y repealed. .
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance
is deelared to be for the support of the municipal government of
the City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its existing public insti-
tutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its passag�e.
