ING AN �MERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROQKINGS, �U�J'�-I :DAKOT.4,��'
Section 1. Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation Ord�.nance
for the year 1975 , Ordinance No. 14- 74 appropriating retren�e
for the operation of the municipal government for the year I975 ,
sufficient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality
to conduct the indispensable functions of gvvernment of said -
City in that appropriations were not sufficient for the 1975-2
Street Construction Fund.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpose
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additio�a�
sum in the amount of $40 ,000 for use in the 1975-�:;St�ee'� Co�1- -
struction Fund.

. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ardi-
nance is declared to be for the support of the municipal government
of the City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its existing public
institutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication.
