ORDINANCE N0. 18-75
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1975 BY ORDINANCE N0.
14-74 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section l . Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation for the year
1975 , f�rdinance No . 14-74 appropriating revenue for the operation of
the municipal government for the year 1975 , sufficient revenues was
not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the indispensable
functions of governme.nt of said City in that appropriations were not
sufficient for Traffic Engineering.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpose of
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional sum
in the amount of $4 ,100 for use for Traffic Engineering in the Gen-
eral Fund.

Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4 . An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance is
declared to be for the support of the municipal government of the
City of Brookings , South Dakota and its existing public institutions
and it shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publi-
cation.
