ORDINANCE N0. 3.7-75
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE S�JPPL�MENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR .1975B� ORDINANCE N0.
14- 74 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE QPERATION OF THE CITY," AND DECLARING �4N 'EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1 . Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation for the year
1975 , Ordinance No . 14-74 appropriating revenue for the operation
of the municipal government for the year 1975>� sufficient revenue
was not provided to enable the municipali��: to conduct the indispen-
sable functions of government of said Gity in that appropriations
were not suffic��nt for the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund.
Section 2 . There is hereby appropriated ..for the purpose of
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional sum
in the amount of $33 ,000 for use in the Federal Revenue Sharing

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in cqnflict
herewith axe hereby repealed.
Section 4 . An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance
is declared to be for the support of the municipal government of the
City of Brookings , South Dakota , and its existing public institutions
and it shall be in full force and effeet after its passage and '
publication.
