O�DINANCE` N0. 9- 75
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1975 BY ORDINANCE N0.
14- 74 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY'' , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. w
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1 . Wh�reas , by the Anr�ual Appropriation Ordinance
for the year 1975, Ordinance No. 14-74 appropriating revenue for
the operation of the munic.ipal government for the year 1975,
sufficient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to
conduct the indispensable functions of government of said City in
that appropriations were not sufficient for snow removal. -
Section 2. There �is hereby appropriated for the purpose of
maintaining and o erating the City of Brookings an additional _sum`
in the amount of $25 ,000 for snow removal .

Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. .
� - ^Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance
is declared to be for the support of the municipal govern�nent of
the City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its existing public insti-
tutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its passage
and publicationv
