ORDINANCE N0. 8- 75

OPERATION OF THE CITY" , .AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. �
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
�ection 1. Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation for the year
1975 , Ordinance No. 14- 74 appropriating revenue for the operation
of the municipal government for the year 1975 , sufficient revenue
' was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the indis�en-
�a'�le functi�ns of government of said City in that appropriations
were not sufficient for the 197.a'' Street Construction Fund. -
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpase of
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional
sum in the amount of $75 ,000 for use in the 197�Street Construction
Fund.

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
here�vith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance
is declared to be for the support of the municipal government o€ the
City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its existing public institutions
and it shall be in full force and effect after its pass�ge and
publication.
