ORDINANCE N0. 15-74
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR T�-IE YEAR 1974 BY ORDINANCE N0.
19-73 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDiTIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY," AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA:
- Section 1 . Whereas , by the Annual A�propriation for the year
1974 , Ordinance No. i9-73 appropriating '�revenue for the operation
of the municipal government for the �year 1974 , su£ficient revenue
was : not provided to enable the muni,cipality to conduct the indis-
pensable functions of government of said .Ci.ty in that appropriations
were not sufficient for the 1974 Street Construction Fund.
Section 2 . There is hereby appropriated for. the purpose of
: - maintaining and o erating the City of $rookings an additional sum
in the amount of $150 ,0�00 for use in the 1974 Street Con�truction
Fund.

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. '
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance
is declared to be. for the support of the municipal government of
the City o� Brookings , South Dakota, as�d its existing public
institutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication.
