AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1974 BY ORDINANCE N0.
19-73 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDIANED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA.
Section 1. Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation f-or the year
1974 , Ordinance No . 19- 73 appropriating revenue for the operation
of the municipal government for the year 1974 , suffic��.ut revenue
was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the indispen-
sable functions of government of said City in that appropriations
were not sufficient for the Parking Lot Construction Fund.
Section 2 . There is hereby appropriat�d for the purpose of
maintaining and o erating the City of Brookings an additional sum
in the amount of �$20 ,000 . 00 for use in the Parking Lot Construction
Fund.

Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance
is declared to be for the support of the municipal government of
the City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its existing public insti-
tutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its passage
and publication.
