ORDINANCE N0. 20- 73
An Ordinance fixing the annual salaries and bonds of the
elected and appointive officers of the City of Brookings , South
Dakota, for the period commencing January 1 , 1974.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the City of Brookings , South Dakota:
l . The annual salaries of the elected and appointive officers
are as follows :
POSITION ANNUAL SALARY
Assessor $ 10 ,445
(The Assessor shall receive $600 per annum
for use of own vehicle) .
Attorney 7 ,600

2 . All elected and appointed officials , Board Members and
designated employees of the City of Brookings in the various depart-
ments shall be covered by the blanket official bond conditioned upon
the faithful performance of the duties of their position and to
account , pay over , and deliver all money or property coming into their
hands by virtue of their position according to law in the sum of
$2 ,500 . 00 for each such official , board member or designated employee ,
except that the bond of the City Treasurer is in such amount as
provided by Section 9-14-6 of SDCL and acts amendatory thereto.
3. The salary scale , longevity pay and personnel policies of ,
all employees under the jurisdiction of the City Commission shall be
approved by resolution for the year 1974. �,
4. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict here- ,
with are hereby repealed.
