ORDINANCE NO . 11-73
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION" 34-225 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, PERTAINING
TO THE PENALTY FQR THE OFFENSE OF DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE QTY OF
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
I. That Section 34-225 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Brookings, South Dakata, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Sec. 34-225. Same -- Penalty for violation.
Any person found guilty of driving while intoxicated
may be fined in an amount not exceeding three hundred
dollars ($300.00) or imprisoned in the county jail for not
more than ninety (90) days or both such fine and imprison-
ment.
II. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
