ORDINANCE N0. 10-73
An Ordinance of the City of Brookings providing a supplemental
ap�ropriation in the amount of Forty One Thousand and Four Hundred
Twenty Dollars ($41 ,420 . 00) for the year 1973 from the monies received
` for Revenue Sharing for the entitlement period ending June 30 , 1973.
WHEREAS , the City of Brookings has and will receive monies from
the United States Treasury Department Office of Revenue Sharing for the
entitlement period commencing January l , 1973 through June 30 , 1973 ,
and
WHEREAS , recipient governments are required to publish reports of
how their revenue sharing funds are to be used,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the City Commission of the City
of Brookings , South Dakota.
Section l . The following Revenue Sharing Funds are to be allocated
as listed below:
Street Improvements-Street Department $39 ,420 . 00
Expanded Services-Recreation Department 2 ,000. 00
Total : $41 ,420.00
Section 2 . The City Auditor of the City of Brookings is hereby
authorized and directed to appropriate from the Federal Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund the enumerated amount of the proper accounts .
First Reading : May 22 , 1973.
Second Reading : May 29 , 1973.
