EQUIPPING OF MOTOR VEHICLES DRIVEN WITHTN THE CITY VVITH
ADEQUATE MUFFLERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GQVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA: �
I. That Section 24-19 of the Revised Ordinances af B�'ookingss-; � �
South Dakota, be and the same is hereby amended to re�d ` -
as follow s: �
Section 24--19. Mufflers.
No person shali d�ive a motor vehicle on any street within
the City unless such vehicle is equ�pped with a muffl�r:in gt�od �.
working order and in constant operation to prevent exces�itve
or unusual noise or annoying smol�e. -
� It shall be unlawful for any person to use a muffler cutout
on any motor vehicle within the City.
II. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof i� conf�ict
herewith are hereby repealed.
