ORDINANCE NO. 17-79
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section l. That the real estate situated in the City of
Brookings, County of Brookings, 5tate of South Dakota, described
as follows, to-wit:
the East 480 feet of the North 910 feet of the SE% NE 4 anci
the North 670 feet of West 544 feet of the East 1024 feet of the
SE% NE% 5ec. 36, T110N, R50W,
be and the same is hereby re-zoned and reclassified from a
Residence R-lA Single Family, to Business B-2 Fringe, and
the East 480 feet of the South 412 feet of the SE 4 NE 4
Sec. 36, T110N, R50W,
be and the same is hereby re-zoned and reclassified from a
Residence R-lA Single Family to Business B-2A Professional Office,
and
the North 910 feet of the West 300 feet of tY�e SE 4 NE�, and
the South 652 feet of the West 544 feet of the East 1024 £eet of
the SE% NE% Sec. 36, T110N, R50W,
be and the same is hereby re-zoned and reclassified from
Residence R-lA Single Family to Residence R-3 Multiple Family and
Apartment, in accordance with Section 780 of Article VII of
Appendix A-Zoning of the Code of Ordinances of Brookings, South
Dakota, as said districts are more fully set forth and described
in Articles III and IV and V of Ordinance No. 715-Appendix A of
the City of Brookings, South Dakota.
Section 2 . The permitted use of the property heretofore
described be and the same is hereby altered and changed in
accordance t-herewith pursuant to said Ordinance No. 715-Appendix
A of the City of Brookings, South Dakota.
Section 3. All sections and ardinances in conflict herewith
are repealed.

NOTICE OF ZONING HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That at the regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Brookings, South Dakota,
to be held at 2 :00 o 'clock P.M, on Monday, December 31, 1979 ,
in the Commission Room in the Fire and Police Building in said
City, there will be brought up for cor.sideration and adoption
with or without amendments or revision an Ordinance proposing
to amend the 1970 Revised Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Brookings, by re-zoning the property descr.ibed as: the East 460
feet of the SE4 NE%, and the North 670 feet of the West 544 feet
of the East 1024 feet of the SE% NE4 Sec. 36, T110N, RSOW, from
Residence R-lA Single Family, to Business B-2 Fringe; and the
North 910 feet of the West 300 feet of the SE�-NE�, and the
South 652 feet of the West 544 feet of the East 1024 feet of
the SE4 NE� Sec. 36, T110N, R50W, from Residence R-lA Single
Family, to Residence R-3 Multiple Family and Apartment, at which
time and place all persons interested will be given a full, f air
and complete hearing thereon.
