ORDINANCE NO. 15-79
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1979 BY
ORDINANCE NO. 19-78 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR 'ADDI-
TIONAL FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING -AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAIiOTA;
Section l . Whereas, by the Annual Appropriation for the
year 1979 , Ordinance No. 19-78 appropriating revenue for the oper-
ation of the municipal government for the year 1979 , sufficient
revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct
the indispensable functions of government of said City in that
appropriations w�re not sufficient for the Municipal Airport.
5ection 2. There i.s hereby appropriated for the purpose
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional
sum in the amount oi $850, 000 for use of the Municipal Airport.
Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordin-
ance is declared to be for the support of the municipal govern- '
ment of the City,..of Brookings, South Dakota, and its existing
public inst.ititti�ons and it shall be in full force and effect aft�r
its passar�e and publication.
