AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 197$ BY
ORDINANCE N0 . 15-77 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDI-
TIONAL FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY. .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA :
Section l. Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation for the •
year 197$, Ordinance No . 15-77 appropriating revenue for the
operation of the municipal government for the year 197$, suffi-
cient revenue was not provided to enable the municip�lity to
conduct the indispensable functions of government of said Gi�y
in that appropriations were not sufficient for the 197�-2 Side-
walk Construction Fund. � �

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpose of '
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional
sum in the amount of $27,000 for use in the 1977-2 Sidewai� Gon-
struction Fund .
