AN ORDINANCE ANIENDING CHAPTER 16 OF THE REVISED ORD-
INANCES OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA , PERTAINING TO GARBAGE
AND TRASH AND COLL�CTION REGULATIONS . .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROORINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA :
I . That Chapter 16 of the Revised Ordinances of Brorikings ,
South Dakota, be and the same is hereby amended as follows :
Section 16-30. Monthly Charges for Users of Bulk -Trash
Containers .

utilizing one and one-half (1 1/2) and two (2)
cubic y�rd ,containers for trash receptacles shall
be ch`arg�d -as `follows :
a. $29•�� F�per month for the 1 1�2 cubie
yard container and $3$.00 per .momth

' cha�r.ges` being based upon twice a week
, p�.�kup. Each additional pickup per week .

Section 16-1�2. •Use Restricted.
Any family domestic unit , commercial establish-
ment or •:2ducational facility may haul garbage, ,
rubbish and waste material originating on the
premises of such family domestic unit , commercial
establishment or educational facility to the sani-
tary landfill provided that they shall pay the
same charges as are charged to licensed commer=
cial garbage haulers and commercial establish- -
ments hauling their own garbage pursuant to ,
Section 16-1�'j. The Commissioner of waste col-,
lection and landfill may authorize persons w�o" �
are not residents of the City, or who are not
otherwise required to pay the City the monthly
license fee, to use the sanitary landfill, and
the Commissioner of waste collection and landfill
shall determine the charges therefor.
Section 16-1�7. Charges for Use .
Each licensed comme�cial garbage hauler and
each commercial establishment hauling its own
garbage , rubbish or waste material, shall pay to
the City for the use of the sanitary landfill,
per vehicle load or part of a load, the following
charges :
a . For loose loads , the sum of 1�0¢ per cubic
, yard of waste or material. Minimum fee 40¢.
b. For all commercial compactor trucks , 'the sum
of $1.00 per cubic �rard per rated capacity.
