ORDINANCE N0 . 19-76
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1976 BY ORDINANCE N0 .
19-75 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE
OPERATION OF THE CITY", AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section l. Whereas , by the Annual &ppropriation Ordinance for
the year 1976, Ordinance No. 19-75 appropriating revenue for the
operation of the municipal government for the year 19?6, sufficient
revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the
indispensable functions of government of said city in that �ppro-
priations were not sufficient for the Attorney, Assessor, Engineer,
Snow Removal, Hospital, Airport , Solid Waste Collection, and Indus-
trial Park Construction Funds .
Section 2. There is hereby ap�ropriated for the purpose of
maintaining and o erating the City of Brookings an additional sum
in the amount of �$37,000 for use in the following funds :
101 General Fund
106 Attorney 200
107 Assessor 2, 500
10$ Engineer 700
302 Snow Removal 5,000
605 Hospital Fund 20,000
606 Airport Fund 3,000
612-402 Solid Waste Collection Fund 3 ,000
5�3 Industrial Park Const. Fund 2,600
$37,000
Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section !�. An emergency is hereby declared and this �t�dinancE
is declared to be for the support of the municipal government and
its existing public institutions and .it shall be in full force and
effect after its passage and publication.
