ORDINANCE N0. 11-76 -
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE
ANI�UAL APPROPRIATI:ON ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1976 BY
ORDINANCE N0. 19- 75 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR �DDI-
�'IONAL FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CITY", AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY. -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA :
Section 1. Whereas , by the Annual Approp�iation fo� t�te
�ear 1976 , Ordinance No. 19-75 appropri�.ting revenue foi tk��
operation of the municipal 'government for the �ear. 1976, .-�£fi- -
cient revenue was not provided to enable the m�;nicipality; to : : -
conduct the indispensable functions of governm�mt: of- said. City � _
in that appropriations were not sufficient for'the 1�76 �tr�et'
Construction Fund.
Section 2. There is hereby appxopriated for the purpose
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional
sum in the amount of $150, 000 for use in the 1976 Stxee� . �

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby� declared and this ardi-
nance is declared to be for the support of the municipal
government of the City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its
existing public institutions and it shall be in full far.c� and
effect after its passage and publication.
