ORDINANCE NO. 30-80
AN ORDINANCE ,�NTITLED ".AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDII�7ANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1980 BY
ORDINANCE N0. 12-79 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDI-
TIONAL EUNDS FOR`.THE OPERI�TION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF &ROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Sectiori l. Wh�reas:; - by the Annual Appropriation for the
year 1980, `ardirYance No. 12-79_ appropriating revenue for the
operation of the.��inuxiicipal go�ernment for the year 1980, suffi-
cient revenue was 'not provided to enable the municipality to
conduct the indispensable functions of government of said City
in that appropriations were not sufficient for the 1980-1 Street
Improvement Fund'.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpose '
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional �
sum in the amount of $105,000 for use in the 1980-1 5treet
Improvement Fund.

Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordi-
nance is declared to be for the support of the municipal government
of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, and its existing public
institutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication.

• AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1980 BY
ORDINANCE NO. 12-79 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDI-
TIONAL FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1 . Whereas, by the Annual Appropriation for the
year 1980, Ordinance No. 12-79 appropriating revenue for the
operation of the municipal government for the year 1980� suffi-
cient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to
conduct the indispensable functions of government of said City
in that appropriations were not sufficient for the 1980-1 Street
Improvement Fund.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpose
