AN ORDINANCE� ENTITLED "AN ORDTNANCE SUPFLEMENTTNG THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATIO.I�I ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1980 BY
ORDINANCE N0. 12-�9 AND.��OR THE �URPOSE OF PROVIDiNG FOR
ADDTTIONAL FUNDS F(3R THE OPER.ATION 0� THE CITY" , AND� DfiCLAR-
ING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS , SOUTH DAKOT�I:
Section 1 . Whereas , by the Annual Appropriation for the I'�
year 1980 , Ordinance No. 12-79 appropriating revenue for the �'i
operation of the municipal government for the year 1980 , suffi-
cient revenue was not provided to enable the municipal�,ty to
conduct the indispensable €unctions of government of �aid City
in that appropriations were not sufficient for. 'the Industrial
Park Development Fund.
Section 2 . There is hereby appropriated for the purpose
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional
sum in the amount of $260 ,000 for use in the Industrial Park
Development Fund.

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordi-
nance is declared to be for the support of the municipal gove.rnment
of the City of Brookings , South Dakota, and its existing public
institutions and it shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication.
