AN�TUAL APPR�OPRIATION ORDSNANCE AS M]piDE FOR THE YEAR 1980 BY

EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:

. Section l. W37ereas, by the Annual Appropriation for t�e
year 1980, Ordinance No. 12-79 appropriating revenue for the ;
operation of the municipal government for the year 1980, suffi- , �
cient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to
conduct the indispensable functions of government of said City
in that appropriations were not sufficient for the 1978-1 Street
Construction Fund.
Section 2 . There is hereby appropriated for the purpose
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional
sum in the amount of $45,000 for use in the 1978-i 5treet Con-
struction Fund.

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ord-
inance is declared to be for the support of the municipal govern-
ment of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, and its existing
public institutions and it shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and publication.
