BE IT ORDAINED Bl' THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,..;
SOUTH DAKOTI�1:
Section I. That Section 10-1 of the Revised Ordinances of
Brookings, South Dakota, is hereby repealed. '
Section II. That Section 10-17 of the Revised Ordinances of � �
Brookings, South Dako�ta, be and the same is hereby amended to read _
as follows, to-wi t: ti �_,
Section 10-17. There is hereby adopted by the City for the
purposes of establishing rules and regulations for the con-
struction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use
and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and �
structures, including permits and penalties, that certain
building code known as the "Uniform Build}ng Code, 19�79 ' ; �r
Edition" , published by the International Conferenc�: of � �
Building Officials, save and except .such portions,'a� are � -�'
hereinaf ter deleted, modified, or amended; of which, not less �
than three (3 ) copies have been and now are filed ir�, the
office of the City Finance Officer and the same is hereby
adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length
herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling in �
the construction of all buildings and other structures
therein contained within the corporate limits of the City.
Section III,. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof
in conflict herewith are hereby ;,�epealed.
