I. . That Section 920, �'ermits, of the Brookings Ci��_. & County
� �Zonirig �O.tdinanee o� t1�e Joint Jurisdictional Area be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows to wit:
Section 920 Permits.
926. Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control.
Before issuing a buildin� permit , the Ccunty�City
Zoning Officer may require a filing of a Certifi-
cate of Intent to comply to the soil loss standards
developed by the Brookings Conservation District:
The County-City Zonin� Officer shall consult the
Brookings County Ordinance for the Control of
Erosion and Sedimentation tha�t was developed
pursuant to SDCL 38-8A before determining if the
proposed activity requires such a Certificate of
Intent.
If a complaint is received in regards to a viola-
tion of the Brookings ;soil loss standards �aused
by non-agri�ultural activities, the County-City
Zonin� Offi.��r shall unciertake those actions
outlined in the Brookin�s County Ordinance for
the Control of Erosion and Sedimentation in
order to brin� about compliance.
II. That any ar.�d all ordinances or parts thereoi', in con-
flict hez�ewith, are here�y repealedo
