ORDINANCE N0. 14-82
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 510 OF THE BROOKINGS
� ZONING ORDINANCE OF 1966 AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO INDUSTRIAL
�
USES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROO�INGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
I . That Section 510 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of
•H � 1966 as amended be and the same is hereby amended by
by adding Section 511-a, as follows:
511-a Uses allowed as special exception by the
Board of Adjustment.
� .1 Assembling and packaging, freight
. handling, light manufacturing, storage
� and warehous�:ng and operations similar
to the foregoing provided that all
operations, equipment and materials
storage are within a completely
� enclosed structure. Parking shall
� be provided on the lot or in public
parking lots.
The Board of Adjustment may require
that an applicant for a special exception
. as herein authorized shall abide by cer-
tain conditions prescribed by the Board
which promote the public health, safety,
and general welfare within the zoning
" district and within the City.

II. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof, in ,
conflict herewith, are her.eby repealed.

NOTICE OF ZONING HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That at the regular meeting of
the Board of Commissioners of the City of Brookings, South
Dakota, to be held at 7 :30 o 'clock P.M. on Tuesday, July 27,
1982, in the Commission Room in the Fire and Police Building
in said City, there will be brought up for consideration and
adoption with or without amendments or revision an Ordinance
proposing to amend the 1966 Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Brookings, which pertains to Sections 510 and 522 Industrial
Uses, at which time and place all persons interested will be
given a full, fair and complete hearing thereon.
Dated at Brookings, South Dakota, this 13th day of July,
1982.
