ORDINANCE NO. 6-8 2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 200 AND SECTION 412.3 OF 'I'f� BROOKINGS
ZONING ORDINANCE OF 1966 A5 AMENDID.
BE IT ORDAINID BY 'I� GOVEEtNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SROOKINGS, SOUTH
DAKOTA:
I. That Section 200 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of 1966 as
amended be and the same is hereby amended to read as follaws, to
wit:
Section 200.27 ' �
a. no change
b. no change
c. no change
d. no change
l. no change
2. no change
3. There shall be no exterior display, no exterior
storage of materials and no other exterior
indication of the hame occupation or variation
fram the residential character of the principal
building, except as noted in Section 700, 740
of the Zoning Ordinance and Chapter 3 of the
City of Brookings Code of Ordinance.�

e. The following occupations, subject to the
requirements of the above paragraph, are
pern�itted as customazy hame occupations.
l. Antiques; provided, however, that outdoor display
is prohibited.
2. Artist, sculptor, author.
3. Barbershop and beauty shop.
4. Dressmaker, milliner, seamstress, tailor,
interior decorator.
5. Professional office.
6. Teachi.ng, including tutoring, musical
instrciction, or dancing.
7. Any other similar use which the City Coi�unission
de�ms to be a ho�e occupation.
8. Small engine or auto repair, to be conducted
entirely within an accessory building with no
exterior storage or accumulation of debris.
II. That Section 412.3 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of 1966 as �
amended be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows,
to.wit:

III. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof, in conflict herewith,
are hereby repealed.
