AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 440 OF THE BROOKINGS ZONING
ORDINANCE OF 1966 AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO USES ALLOWED AS
SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT IN THE R ESIDENCE
R-3 MULTIPLE FAMILY AND APARTMENT ZONE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
I . That Section 440 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of 1966
as amended be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows, to wit:
That existing Section 441-a be amended to read
Section 442 . New Section 442 be amended by adding:
. 4 Funeral homes and mortuaries
That existing Section 442 be amended to read Section 443 .
That existing Section 443 be amended to read Section 444 .
� That existing Section 444 and 444 . 1 be deleted.
II . That any and all ordinances or parts thereof, in conflict
herewith, are hereby repealed.

SECOND READING: December 27 , 1983
