AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 610 OF THE BROOKINGS ZONING
ORDINANCE OF 1966 AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO SPECIAL SITE PLAN
REQUIREMENT, AREA REGULATIONS, AND SITE PLAN REGULATIONS IN THE
INDUSTRIAL I-1R RESTRICTED ZONE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA:
I . That Section 612 . 1 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of 1966
as amended be and the same is hereby amended by deletion of
the portion that follows, to wit:
Deviation from these guidelines will require
approval of the Board of Adjustment.
II . That Section 612. 1 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of 1966
as amended be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows , to wit:
Deviation from any of the regulations in
Sections 613 and 614 shall be under the
exclusive jurisdiction of the Planning and
Zoning Commission and the Brookings City
Commission.
III . That any and all ordinances or parts thereof, in conflict
herewith, are hereby repealed.

SECOND READING: December 27 , 1983
PASSED AND APPROVED: December 27 , 1983
