AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 34-258 PERTAINING TO
VEHICLE PARKING IN DOWNTOWN AREA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS That Section 34-258 be and the same is hereby
amended as follows , to-wit :
Section 34-258 . Vehicle Parking in Downtown Area.
It shall be unlawful for the driver or owner of
any vehicle to park or leave standing or permit to be
parked or left standing such vehicle upon the traveled
portion of Main Avenue in the City from the north side
of Front Street to the south side of Sixth Street and
east and west from Main Avenue in the City to the first
alleys on Third, Fourth, and Fifth Streets . (Last
sentence of Ordinance omitted. )

SECOND READING : December 13 , 1983
PASSED AND APPROVED : December 27 , 1983
