ORDINANCE N0 . 21-83
AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE COST OF COLLECTION AND
DISPOSAL OF REFUSE FOR FAMILY DOMESTIC UNITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
I . Section 16-24 . Monthly charges for family domestic units.
The cost of collection and disposal of refuse for family
domestic units , including trailers in trailer courts, shall
become a charge against the occupant of each dwelling and
shall be payable monthly, together with other public ser-
vice charges as defined by this City. A fair and reason-
able charge for the collection of the contents of not more
than two (2) cans or two (2) sealed bags at each regular '
collection time, from each domestic unit shall be Five
Dollars and 50/100 ($5 . 50) per month.
II . That any and all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
