ORDINANCE NO. 12-83
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 520 and 540 OF THE
BROOKINGS ZONING ORDINANCE OF 1966 AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO
THE BUSINESS B-1 CENTRAL, B-2 FRINGE AND B-3 HEAVY BUSINESS
ZONES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
I . That Section 515 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of
1966 as amended by and the same is hereby amended by
adding Section 511.A, as follows:
511.A Uses allowed as special exceptions by the Board
of Adjustment.
. l Accessory Use - businesses and residences
within an existing residentially used structure.
II . That Section 520 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of
1966 amended be and the same is hereby amended by
adding Section 522 . 5, as follows :
522 Uses allowed as special exceptions by the
Board of Adjustment.
.5 Accessory use - businesses and residences
within an existing residentially used structure.
III . That Section 540 of the Brookings Zoning Ordinance of
1966 amended be and the same is hereby amended by
adding Section 541A.2, as follows:
. 2 Accessory use - businesses and residences
within an existing residentially used structure.
IV. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof, in conflict
herewith, are hereby repealed.
