AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 725 OF THE BROOKINGS
ZONING ORDINANCE OF 1966 AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO THE USE
RESTRICTIONS IN AIRPORT SAFETY ZONES:
BE IT ORDAINED By the governing body of the City of Brookings,
South Dakota:
I. That Section 725 b. 2, of the Brookings "Loning Ordinances
of 1966 as amended be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows, to-wit:
.1 Safety Zone A: Subject at al! times to the height restrictions
set forth in Section 724 (b) hereof, and to the general
restrictions contained in Section 725 (b) (1), areas designated
as Safety Zone shall contain no buildings or temporary
structures, exposed transmission lines, or other similar land
use structural hazards and shall be restricted to those uses
' which will not create, attract, or bring together an assembly
of persons thereon. Permitted uses may include agriculture
(seasonal crops), horticulture wildlife habitat, light outdoor
recreation and auto parking.
II. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
