AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1984 BY ORDINANCE
NO. 25-83 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS -
FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BRO�KIP7GS, SOUTH DAKOTA: � � � .
Section l. WHEREAS , by the Annual Appropriation Ordinance
for the year 1984 , Ordinance No. 25-83 appropriating revenue for �
the operation of the municipal government for the year 1984, suf-� �
ficient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to * �
conduct the indispensable functions of the government of said _ • '°�`
City in that appropriations were not sufficient for the su�sidy , . -
for Brookings Convention Visitors' Bureau.

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the purpos� of `�
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings an additional sum
in the amount of $15,000 for use in the following fund: �
101 - General Fund
419 .5 - 456 . 01 Advertising (BCVB) $15, 000
Section 3 . Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in �on�• � . ` � '
flict herewith are hereby repealed. �
Section 4 . An emergency is hereby declared and this ordin-
ance is declared to be for the support of the municipal government -
and its existing public institutions and it shall be in full force �, `
and effect after its passage and publication. �
