AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-76 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS PERTAINING TO POWERS OF THE COMMITTEE
ON HUMAN RIGHTS
BE IT ORDAINED By the govering body of the City of Brook-
ings that Section 2-76 of the R�vised Ordinances of the City
of Brookings be amended to read as follows :
(b) To advise and provide a forum for those who have
been subjected to unfair and discriminatory prac-
tices in the City of Brookings. The committee shall
not gather, maintain or cause to be maintained any
reco s containing the names or otheriaise identifying
any R '"'� against whom an unproven allegation of
discrimination has been made. The committee shall
not have tzhe authority to make determinations of
discrimination in any specific case.
