ORDINANCE NO. 28-85
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 701 OF ORDINANCE NO. 532 OF THE
CITY OF BROOKINGS PERTAINING TO SIDEWALKS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA:
I. That Section 701 of Ordinance 532 be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows, to wit:
701.3 16. Sidewalks: Portland Cement Concrete sidewalks per city specifi-
cations will be installed on each lot at the time of construction.
After final plat approval and four years (4) after sidewalks have,
been constructed on seventy percent (70°r6) or more of the frontage
along a hardsurfaced arterial or collector streef between two street
intersections, the remaining sidewalk along said stceet shall be
installed. However, as provided by state law, the City Commission
may order said sidewalks installed at any time that they may
determine them to be necessary.
II. That any and all ordinances or parts thereof, in conflict herewith, are hereby
repealed.
