ORDINANCE NO. 17-86
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-16 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS PERTAINING TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT SECTION 17-16 OF THE REVISED '
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 17-16. Composition .
The Board of Health shall be composed of five ( 5 ) members,
one of whom shall be a physician in good standing and in active
practice in the City. The Deputy Health Officer shall be an
ex-officio member of the Board and act as the Secretary of
the Board of Health, carrying out all prescribed duties of
the Secretary. ,
Any and all Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby '
repealed.
