AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BROOKINGS ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 520
OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA,
AND PERTAINING TO FRONT YARD PARKING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT SECTION 701 . 6 OF THE BROOKINGS ZONING ORDINANCE
BE AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I .
701 . Application of Parking requirements.
. 6 Front yard parking. No off-street parking shall be
permitted in the front yard of any residence or RB-4 neighborhood
business district from April 1st to November 15th, except for
a normal driveway providing access to the garage or to the rear
of the lot.
Off-street parking shall be permitted in the front yard
from November 16 through March 31 between the side lot line and
the principal building. On a corner lot this shall be construed
to allow parking from the rear lot line to the principal building,
also.
II .
Any and all Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
