AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1986 BY ORDINANCE NO.
18-85 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. Whereas, the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for
the year 1986, Ordinance No. 18-85 appropriating revenue for the
General Fund for 1986 did not consider the additional revenue that
was received from the Bed and Booze Tax which was for Convention
Visitors Bureau purposes.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated for the Convention
Visitors Bureau an additional sum of $11 ,500.00:
101 General Fund
419 .5 Advertising
456.02 B&B (Convention ) $11 ,500.00
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordin-
ance is declared to be for the support of the municipal government
and its existing public institutions and it shall be in full force
and effect after its passage and publication.
