AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1987 BY ORDINANCE
N0. 18-86 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS
FOR THE OPERATION OF THE CITY" , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section l . WHEREAS, by the Annual Appropriation Ordinance
for the year 1987, Ordinance No. 18-86 appropriating revenue
for the operation of the municipal government for the year 1987,
sufficient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality
to conduct the indispensable functions of the government of
said City.
Section 2. , There is hereby appropriated for the purpose
of maintaining and operating the City of Brookings additional
sums for the following funds :
101 General Fund
452 .0 Parks $20,000
456 . 1 Industrial Development 97 ,000
457 .0 Historical Preservation 1, 101
272 Revenue Sharing
447 .0 Domestic Abuse Shelter 2, 887
504 Industrial Park
432 .00 Buildings & Structures 90,000
Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
her�tiTith are hereby rePealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared and this ordin-
ance is declared to be for the support of the municipal government
and its existing public institutions and it shall be in full
force and effect after its passage and publication.
