ORDINANCE N0. 16-88
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 715, SECTION 34-266 . 1
AND PERTAINING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HROOK—
INGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT ORDINANCE N0. 715, SECTION 34-266 . 1 OF
THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, BE AMENDED TO
REAU AS FOLLOWS, to-wit :
I .
Sec . 34-266 . 1 . Parking restrictions in downtown shopping
area and portions of Medary Avenue .
It shall be unlawful for the driver or any owner of any
motor vehicle, trailEr or implement to park or leave standing or
permit to be parked or left standing, anY motor vehicle, trailer
or implement on Main Avenue between the railroad tracks and Sixth
Street and on Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Streets from Third
to Fifth Avenues , and on Medary Avenue from Eighth Street to
Ninth Street for more than two (2} consecutive hours between the
hours of 8 : 00 a .m. and 5 : 30 p .m. on Mondays through Saturdays .
Tickets for violation of this section shall be the responsi-
bility of the registered owner of the vehicles .
II .
All ordinanc�s in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
